ATL Breathable roofing Membrane is 3-layer thermo-bonded: PP non-woven fabric on top and bottom layer for protection and reinforcement, micro-porous PE film in the middle layer as breathable membrane.

Which is highly “diffusion open” on the inside, giving it the ability to freely transport moisture from within the inner wall or roof cavity to the outside. This effectively prevents the mould and subsequent structural damage that can result when moisture becomes trapped during construction, and over time, from driving rain and internally driven dampness caused by condensation when humidity levels are high. Adding to the risk of structural decay is the wall and roof insulation, which also becomes damp as a result of trapped moisture.

The ATL three-layer membrane stands apart from other materials designed for similar applications by its ability to be placed directly onto the insulating material, eliminating the need for creating specific air gaps.
Consequently, this direct application method results in savings in terms of time, labor, and material costs, as there is no requirement for the use of intermediate boarding between the thermal insulation and the membrane during installation. These efficiencies lead to a reduction in the overall financial costs associated with waterproofing.
The diffusion membrane's structure ensures that the material possesses both superior water-repellent properties and vapor permeability. This allows for the installation of ASL waterproofing on the roofs and heat-insulated walls of buildings in nearly all weather conditions.
